Financial contributions to the Hometown Resource Center are extremely important. These contributions go to items such as helping purchase food for the food pantry and to provide for the expenses that the Center incurs during day-to-day operations.
We accept donations via credit card through the GiveMN.org website. Our donation page can be found here: Hometown Resource Center. GiveMN.org is also our preferred donation method for the annual Give to the Max Day in November of each year!
In addition, financial donations can be dropped off or mailed directly to the Resource Center (see Contact page for address). Please call the Center directly if you have questions regarding providing a monetary donations.
Now Seeking Monthly Sustaining Supporters

The Hometown Resource Center and Food Shelf is a consistent and trusted source of support and resources to Southeastern Minnesotan’s in need. In order to provide that consistency, and have people in need trust in us, we rely on our sustainer donors. As a monthly donor, you’ll know you are making a difference each and every day — ensuring that we can be more resilient together.
We are a community food shelf and resource center: here for the community, and able to open our doors thanks to the community. We’re so thankful for the trust our monthly donors place in us. Being a Food Shelf Sustainer makes you an essential part of our work to serve your neighbors in need across our community. This dependable, monthly support allows us to plan so even more children, seniors, veterans, families, and individuals in Southeastern Minnesota have enough healthy food on the table. Thank you for your interest in being a fundamental part of our mission to nourish people, build solutions, and empower communities.
