Coordinated Assistance

In addition to operating a community food shelf, the Hometown Resource Center offers support for individuals and families struggling to pay for essential utilities such as electricity, heat, or gas. We also provide emergency assistance during times of crisis, such as after a house fire or other unexpected hardship.

Please note that a formal interview is required to determine eligibility for assistance. If you’d like more information, contact the Resource Center directly. If we are closed, please leave a voicemail with your name and contact information, and someone will follow up with you as soon as possible.

The Resource Center partners with various organizations and groups in our local communities and counties to make sure that the needs of all citizens are met. Some of these groups provide financial assistance, while other groups help provide services not offered by the Resource Center. These collaborations are crucial to the vitality of the Resource Center.
